Who we are

UniMinistry Foundation Ltd is a DGR endorsed registered charity and non-denominational Christian organization delivering innovative programs and experiences which are designed to bring ethics, personal and professional development to the centre of a person’s life.

Our mission is to operate as a ‘community shed’ which facilitates a range of activities for members with the dominate purpose of advancing mental health and preventing or relieving social isolation.

We are not a church, but we collaborate with Christians and non-Christians through prayer, events, fundraising, and volunteering. Additionally, we work with various individuals, organizations, and governments.

UniMinistry Foundation provides pastoral care, coaching, mentoring and scholarships to local and international students seeking to study, live, work and play in Australia.

Our team includes senior academics and business leaders who have worked for some of Australia’s best-known institutions.

Pastoral care is an ancient model of emotional, social and spiritual support that can be found in all cultures and traditions. The term is considered inclusive of distinctly non-religious forms of support as well as support for people from religious communities.

Pastoral care at UniMinistry Foundation is expressed both formally and informally.

We have a variety of formal programs such as our leadership retreats, goal setting workshops, chaplaincy services, prayer groups, student counselling services, and coaching and mentoring programs.

UniMinistry Foundation celebrate Easter and Christmas services and facilitates a number of cross-cultural and interfaith special events throughout the year.

We offer workshops and programs to promote the welfare of students and staff at education institutions, all of whom are welcome to participate in extracurricular activities such as breakfast programs, lunchtime groups and sports groups.

UniMinistry Foundation is a safe space where students can discuss philosophy, ethics, and theology.

Everyone is welcome.
