Phillip Cenere FAIM GAICD is an experienced and seasoned C-Suite executive with demonstrated success in the strategic management of large and complex world-class institutions.

For more than 20 years he has served in senior leadership roles including as Associate Vice Chancellor, CEO, Executive Dean and Professor. During this time he has made a distinguished contribution to higher education management, the business professions and executive education through his governance roles, fostering professional and business ethics education and volunteering for charitable and not-for-profit causes.

Phillip’s most recent appointments include CEO of Australian Vision Research; Executive Dean, Professor and CEO of the Australian Institute of Business Intelligence; and Associate Vice Chancellor and Head of Campus (NSW) for CQ University.

He has served on the Australian Institute of Company Directors’ (AICD) NSW Council as well as the institute’s National Education Advisory Committee, Curriculum Development Committee (responsible for the flagship Company Directors Course) and Director Professional Development Committee. He has also served on the boards, councils and committees of the Centre for Disability Studies, Nutrition Australia, Banking and Finance Oath, RDA Sydney, Australian Business Deans Council, Australia China Business Council, the Association for Tertiary Education Management (ATEM), the Public Relations Institute of Australia and Early Bird Marketplace, and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and a Trustee of the Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA).

Chris Gray is Managing Director of Twenty6Forty4 Communications, a consulting firm that provides organisations with public relations, communication and issues management support. He formed Twenty6Forty4 — a nod to the 26 letters and 44 sounds of the English language — in May 2021, after running several firms in the communications field over the past 25 years.

He was co-founder and Managing Director of PR firm ICON International Communications (part of the global Ketchum PR network), Daylight Agency (an advertising and communications agency) and First Light Consulting, a specialist risk and reputation consultancy.

Chris has worked for public, private and not-for-profit organisations across most industry sectors. He regularly advises CEOs and management on reputational matters and undertakes training in media, crisis, sales and presentation skills. He provides on-call support to several organisations and has responded to major crises in Australia and overseas.

He is a life-time member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia, a member of the International Association of Business Communicators, and a regular contributor and speaker at industry events on branding, marketing and crisis management. Prior to working in public relations and communication, Chris worked as a journalist for News Corporation and Nine/Fairfax.

Yan (Lily) Wang CPA GAICD is an executive finance and operations leader with deep, hands-on experience across residential aged care, retirement living and aged care shared services. A Certified Practising Accountant and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Lily is known for translating complex regulatory requirements into processes frontline teams can actually deliver — bridging policy and operational reality at a time of generational reform for the sector.

Most recently, as Chief Operating Officer of a service provider to the aged care sector, she led finance, payroll, billing and reporting services supporting aged care providers across Australia. In that role she oversaw a portfolio of more than fourteen residential facilities, introduced AI-assisted automation and Medicare reconciliation tools, and built the financial controls and reporting frameworks that supported rapid expansion.

Her aged care expertise sits within a broader for-purpose career, including finance business partnering at Guide Dogs NSW/ACT, where she was recognised with a Braille Award for championing accessible reporting. Her governance experience includes a non-executive directorship with ACL Disability Services and her current role as Treasurer and Director of UniMinistry Foundation Ltd.

Lily has also sustained more than a decade of engagement with Australian universities as a guest lecturer and industry mentor. She holds a Master of Accounting from Macquarie University and completed the AICD Company Directors Course in 2026.

As Treasurer, Lily leads the Foundation’s financial oversight — budgeting, reporting and internal controls. She brings board-level governance credentials, CFO-grade technical depth, and the operational pragmatism of a leader who has built and steadied teams through sustained change. In aged care, she believes, disciplined financial management is what sustains safe, high-quality care for older Australians.
