The Partnership
Two organisations, one goal
This program is delivered through a partnership between UniMinistry Foundation and Chancellor Institute — pairing Chancellor’s aged care training with UniMinistry’s pastoral care and community support, so future carers arrive prepared, connected and supported.

A DGR-endorsed registered charity supporting local and international students through pastoral care, coaching, mentoring and scholarships — with a growing focus on connecting caring people to Australia’s aged care sector. UniMinistry shares this program with its community as part of its mission of advancing wellbeing and preventing social isolation, and its pastoral care team is available to participants along the way.
Chancellor Institute
An education provider preparing people for the realities of aged care work in Australia. Chancellor Institute designs and delivers the course, hosts the live webinars and workshops, manages enrolment, and issues the Certificate of Completion.
About the Course
Built for Australia’s aged care workforce
Australia’s regional aged care sector needs culturally confident workers who understand how it operates. This five-week course blends live webinars, virtual workshops and scenario-based learning to prepare personal care workers and nurses for the realities of aged care work in Australia — building cultural confidence, knowledge of the national quality standards, and a clear understanding of the sector’s roles and responsibilities — in just three hours a week, designed to fit around full-time work.
